"Hello my name is Nazeerah Begum and I have done the mural for quite a long time. Although it is hard work,
it is really fun. One thing that is so amazing is that everybody in the school community, even in the area, are taking part
in the school mural and we all make a very fantastic team! We have been working with Maud, Clem, Sunita, Leona, Jay and
Jill and they are all phenomenal helpers. The mosaic tiles are made out of clay, stone, glass and plates. The tiles are
smooth and you have to place it the right way up. Yu can know how to make the tiles stuck on the right way up by feeling a
rough side, then sticking the rough side onto the surface. The theme for the mural is animals and nature. It's been really fun
working on the mural over the past week and I hope it's a fantastic piece when it goes up on the wall!" Nazeerah Year 6, Bonner Primary School, Tower Hamlets |

"I've been doing the mural for a week now during my breaktime and lunchtime.
What we actually had to do was stick down some tiles which were made out of clay, glass and stone.
We had to stick the tiles down with PVA glue and it takes 20 minutes for the glue to dry! The mural is
great fun to do because once you get the hang of it you're just going to want to do it again and again.
The tiles are stuck onto a piece of material called mesh." Tahmina Year 6, Bonner Primary School, Tower Hamlets |
